There is very little information to be found on this Rum, but it is very common in Cuba. Some sources say it is distilled in Santiago de Cuba (would make sense), but I haven't found much solid evidence on my brief internet perusal...
Bottling Code: N/A
Bottling Date: ~2015
Relatively simple – but a bit going on here. Pear, prunes, cherry, vanilla, berries, toasted and dried fruits. Dry, with some spices and brown sugar and a bit of cilantro, too. Brief tasting notes, but sufficient, I think – not bad, but not spectacular…
Value: Low. Not expensive, but I think there are better rums on the cheaper side that you can buy.
