The nose is oaky, with clove, light orange, toffee, and bright flowers. It’s slightly sour, with lots of ex-bourbon cask nuances. The palate is lightly floral, slightly sweet, and a but thin - a bit light and sweet. The finish is slightly sweet and tannic.

It’s not bad, and quite interesting – I quite like the diversity of rums that Plantation utilizes. They make for great rum tastings, if you have access to a few of them.

Assessment: Recommended.

Value: Average. Not a bad rum purchase.
