This whisky is similar to the Pike Creek 10 Year Old which is available in Canada, except that it is a little younger and doesn't have an age statement. However, in my tastings of it, I haven't found the quality to differ from the 10 Year version available in Canada.

Woody and spicy, complex and dark. On the palate - candied oranges, maple, rye spice, and a bit of a weetabix finish to it as the grains shining through. The balance is good and the spices and candied orange hold the end quite nicely. It tastes ever-so-lightly younger than the Canadian version, but the quality is the same (in 2015 at any rate).
